Voucher Schemes

Voucher Schemes

At Liddle Seeds, we try to accept all forms of recognized childcare vouchers in order to provide parents with as many as possible payment options. Each childcare voucher company will pay us at different times of the month and it is sometimes not possible for us to take into account receipts received after the cut-off date for notifying you of the amount for your direct debit (1st day of the preceding month). In such cases the childcare vouchers received will then be taken into account for the following month’s direct debit.

At Liddle Seeds, the full fees are payable in advance and so for your first month we would not be able to take into account any childcare vouchers expected to be received in the future. Childcare vouchers subsequently received will therefore be credited to your account for the second month provided they are received before the cut-off date for direct debits (1st day of the preceding month – see above).

Up to £243 per month of Childcare Vouchers can be advanced by your employer free of tax and national insurance usually by way of a salary sacrifice. You can enquire with us as to whether your employer is already registered for Childcare Vouchers with us and if not, how to join the scheme.

If you have a state pension (contracted into SERPS), by reducing your salary and taking Childcare Vouchers, you are reducing the amount of national insurance paid which means that your state pension contributions are less. Please contact your HR department for further information.

All paper vouchers are valid for one year. If you have some left over, contact your employer. Electronic vouchers do not have any expiry date.
